Our story
We are a husband and wife who lost a son, Orion Duke, at 24 weeks pregnant. When he was born, we held him for three days, experiencing every emotion possible. During this moment, we felt a guided energy, a love, that helped us through the next few days. We didn't want to let him go, but the reality of the world eventually set in even if we didn't want it to.
After some time, the grief and pain came crashing in waves. A year's worth of tears and anger caused so much chaos. The death of our child held such incredible guilt and loss that we didn't know what to do with it. We were just trying to survive, and through that survival came the acceptance of our new life without Orion. We eventually found some peace. A peaceful understanding that he will always be a piece of us. He's not physically here, but we feel him all around.

Oternity comes from the word "eternity."
To love so infinitely

From all of that experience, we created Oternity to honour loved ones. Death is inevitable, something that's often swept under the rug. Perhaps it’s the fear of dying, the longing to hold a loved one again, or the sudden pain of loss, especially when unexpected or when innocence is lost. No one wants to talk about it, so we chose to be part of a community that would like to change that.
